UniTea - Account and Data Deletion
We value your privacy. If you no longer wish to use UniTea, you can request to have your account and all associated data permanently deleted.
How to delete your account inside the UniTea app
- Open the UniTea app and ensure you are logged in.
- Navigate to your Profile tab.
- Tap on the Settings gear icon.
- Select Manage Account.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm your decision.
How to request data deletion via email (if you no longer have the app)
If you have uninstalled the app and cannot access your account, you can request manual deletion of your data. Please send an email to unitee.app@gmail.com using the @nu.edu.kz email address associated with your UniTea account. Use the subject line 'Account Deletion Request'. We will process your request within 7-14 business days.
What data gets deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently wiped from our servers:
- Profile Information: Your username, avatar, and authentication details.
- User-Generated Content: All your posts, comments, upvotes/downvotes, and active polls.
- Communications: Your chat history and direct messages.
This action is irreversible. Once an account is deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
